Construction Schedule and Known Details (updated Sept. 4, 2018) Construction crews have placed a temporary barrier wall on Highway 124 at Henry Clower Boulevard. E.R. Snell plans to move equipment in on Thursday to start wall construction at this location. Crews plan to start the 90-day, 24-hour-a-day right lane closure on Henry Clower Boulevard eastbound at Highway 124 on Monday, Oct. 8, for the construction of a new wall. As always this is subject to change based on the weather. Pedestrians and motorists should use caution while traveling or walking through the construction work zone. In July 2017, the Georgia Department of Transportation selected a contractor for the intersection improvements at Main Street (U.S. 78) and Scenic Highway (S.R. 124).
