Moving in?
Please be sure to contact the Public Works Department to set up your sanitation and recycling service at (770) 985-3527. Our office hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Calling to start service will assure you two weeks of additional garbage above our normal volume base 65 gallon cart, without needing the special Blue Bags normally required. There is no charge for your basic sanitation service. The City is paying for all basic sanitation service and therefore we need to restart the service on any residence that may have been stopped when the previous owner moved out. We will get your general information and send you information with all guidelines. Once we have all the necessary information and verify you have the appropriate cart and we will start your service.
Moving out?
Please be sure to contact the Public Works Department to stop your sanitation and recycling service at (770) 985-3527. Our office hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Calling to stop service will assure you two weeks of additional garbage above our normal volume base 65 gallon cart, without needing the special Blue Bags normally required. This will also ensure the account is not in your name and show you are no longer responsible for this residence. The garbage cart is to remain at the residence.
