REQUEST FOR SEALED BID UNCLAIMED PROPERTY SALE CITY OF SNELLVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT, GEORGIA

The City of Snellville Police Department (City) is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the purchase of unclaimed property per O.C.G.A. 17-5-54.  Sealed bids will be accepted at Snellville Police Department, 2315 Wisteria Drive between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 pm (local time) on Thursday, October 28, 2021.  The items are also available for inspection during these times.   Any bid received after said time and date will not be accepted by the City.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope identifying the prospective bidder on the outside of the envelope.  The Bids shall remain valid for a period of 60 days from bid opening.  All sales shall be to persons who are licensed as firearms collectors, dealers, importers, or manufacturers under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Section 921, et seq., and who are authorized to receive such firearms under the terms of such license. The City reserves the right to waive any informality and any technicalities, and to reject any or all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
