Open Records Requests

Overview

The Online Open Records Request Form may be used to request access to documents maintained by Departments to inspect or obtain copies under the Georgia Open Records Act.  Although Open Records Requests are not required to be submitted in writing, use of this form will aid considerably in ensuring that each request is fulfilled as accurately as possible. 

You can make an open records request by completing the Open Records Request form (see below).

Planning & Development Information:
The Planning Department does have digital .PDF files of the residential subdivision plats (Final Plat). Please email your request and include the subdivision name.
Subdivision plats and land records may also be obtained at the Deeds and Records office of the Superior Court of Gwinnett County, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville (770.822.8100.) The Planning Department may have copies of model home plans for subdivisions built after 2000; however it does not maintain copies of individual residential house plans, please contact the home builder.
