Current Codes & Ordinances

Overview

The Municipal Code of Snellville constitutes a recodification of the general and permanent ordinances of the City of Snellville, Georgia.  Included in the Code as Appendix "A" is the Unified Development Ordinance ("UDO") that was adopted 10-26-2020 and replaced the Zoning Ordinance and Development Regulations that were in effect until UDO adoption.

The UDO consolidates many of the city's regulations for: zoning and land use; land development; buffers and screening; exterior lighting; landscaping; tree ordinance; environmental protection; storm water; and other regulations into one source document containing a Table of Contents and four chapters (100 - General Provisions; 200 - Zoning and Land Use; 300 - Buildings, and 400 - Land Development).
