Moving in?
Please be sure to contact the Public Works Department to set up your sanitation and recycling service. The number to call is (770) 985-3527 and our office hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Calling to start service will assure you two weeks of additional garbage above our normal volume base 65 gallon cart. There is no charge for your basic sanitation and recycling service. The City is paying for all basic sanitation service and therefore we need to restart the service on any residence that may have been stopped when the previous owner moved out. We will get your general information and send you a brochure with all guidelines. Once we have all the necessary information and verify you have the appropriate cart and bin we will start your service.
Moving out?
Please be sure to contact the Public Works Department to stop your sanitation and recycling service. The number to call is (770) 985-3527 and our office hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Calling to stop service will assure you two weeks of additional garbage above our normal volume base 65 gallon cart without needing the special blue bags normally required. This will also insure the account is not in your name and show you no longer are responsible for this residence. The garbage cart and recycling bin are to remain at the residence.
